Thembalihle have acquired land
for their plan to build 12 orphanages in Luganda in
partnership with Esther Ministries. The orphanages will comprise of small cottages with a
trained house mother with 4-6 children.

The
cottages will have full ablution
facilities, running water and full
kitchenette. All cottages will be
located in close proximity
and integrated within the surrounding
community. |

| Plans are
being developed to build a Community Centre in
Luganda which would be open to the public.
Teachers would be invited to use our computers
to prepare, photocopy and collate work for
classes. Courses in basic computer literacy
would be available to the public as well as
workshops on writing a CV's, life skills, living
with HIV and other topics. |

We are currently waiting for the
government to build a primary school in Luganda to replace the
current one in Thembalihle Church. Many obstacles are preventing this from
progressing but we are confident that this will happen very soon. |

One of our long term plans is to have
a secondary school built in Luganda. It would be a Christian school
taught by Christians teachers from all round the world having made a
commitment for at least 2 years service. All children from our
community would be invited to attend allowing us to provide a high
standard of education opening new opportunities for them.
