Akhona is a
six month old girl. Both parents are alive but are currently
unemployed. Akhona stays with her mother Mabuyi,
grandparents and six other children. There are eleven of them
altogether in their family. The Grandfather helps Mabuyi to
support Akhona with his tuck shop. |

Both parents are alive although the father works temporally
sometimes. Nelly is the mother of the child. |

house. The father works in a part time jobs
sometimes twice a week. No one is currently
collecting a child support grant. They do not have birth
certificates because Ebrahim's mother does not
have an identification book. There are seven all
together in the family living in an two roomed
house. They cannot afford the rent on the house
where they are staying. |

Indiphile is a two
year old girl and both parents are alive. They
do not stay together and neither of them are
currently working. Namhla
is the mother of the child, she is an orphan,
she does not stay with Indiphile because she
hasn't got anything. Indiphile stays with her
grandmother. The grandmother is a domestic
worker who pays the rent. There are six of them
altogether in the family living in a two room
house. |

Klondeke
Majola is a 6 month old girl and both parents are alive.
Bonginkosi Majola is the father of the child, he is not
working at the moment. The mother is still at school but the grandmother
earns a small salary which feeds the the family of nine. |
